How to convert

The Basics of Autogas Conversion

Autogas

It is easy to convert any car with a gasoline engine. The costs of such a conversion depend on the size of the engine and the size of the tank. The autogas tank is usually installed in the spare tire compartment below the trunk of the car. Based on more than 30 years of experience with autogas, high safety standards can be guaranteed.

When converting to autogas the regular gasoline tank is kept in place. With the bifuel engine you can run either on autogas or gasoline. The car always starts on gasoline until the engine reaches a certain temperature and then automatically switches to autogas. Switching is either done automatically or manually with a switch inside the car. Depending on the size of the tank and the efficiency of the engine, your car runs between 350 to 1.000 kilometers on one filling. To control the filling level an indicator is added in the central console of your car.

Important: Conversion should only be done by professional automotive shops and the car must be presented for technical inspection at the local authorities after the conversion.
